Working in collaboration with architectural historian Jenny Harper, Hanbury Preservation Consulting completed a survey update of a portion of Davidson's National Register Historic District. Excluding the commercial core that is locally designated, the team photographed all of the 454 properties within the district. They collated previous survey material and included it, as well as current information, in the state's survey database. Work on the North Main Street corridor was expedited and documentation was prepared to expand the Town's local historic district. At the end of the project, the team developed a list of recommendations for future work including adjustments to existing historic district boundaries.
